A message from Will Reichard, former Graduate Student Government Association (Grad SGA) president.

I am extremely proud to report that the graduate student body has elected Haden Boone and Kiera Tran to serve as our next Grad SGA president and executive vice president, respectively.

Haden is entering the third year of his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and completed his entire undergraduate education at Georgia Tech. He has served as the Grad SGA vice president of government affairs for the last year and has been involved with several other prominent student organizations over the duration of his collegiate experience.

Kiera will be entering the second year of her Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. She transferred into Georgia Tech as an undergraduate student. This year, Kiera has served as the Grad SGA vice president of campus services.

As a graduate student, I am tremendously excited to be represented by them for the next year.

Haden and Kiera were officially sworn in on the evening of Thursday, April 20.

It has been the honor of a lifetime to represent the graduate student perspective this year, and I am extremely thankful that I've had the opportunity to work within an organization that genuinely values collaboration between students, faculty, and administration. I believe that the Graduate Student Government is in a much better state now than it was in August, and I'm looking forward to Grad SGA's continued role in helping make Georgia Tech an even better place to study.
