This is an info session for a Faculty-led Study Abroad Program: Exploring Traditional Korea, which blends virtual learning and in-person experiences, structured as follows: 1. Virtual Module (Weeks 1-2, May 12-May 23): A two-week online course designed to build foundational knowledge of Korea’s history through historical films, documentaries, and readings. 2. In-Country Module (Weeks 3-5, May 26-June 13): - Week 3: Extensive tours of historical sites and museums, providing a firsthand exploration of Korea's history from the Paleolithic period to 1979. - Weeks 4-5: A two-week immersive experience at the Jindo National Gugak Center, involving traditional musical instrument training, percussion quartet sessions, and cultural explorations at local historical sites.
