I completed a three-year bachelor's degree. Am I eligible to enroll at Georgia Tech?

If you have a three-year bachelor's degree from a non-US institution, please contact the Office of Graduate Education. Not all three-year bachelor degree's are considered equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree and you may not be eligible to matriculate (i.e., enroll) in a graduate program at Georgia Tech. The Office of Graduate Education is the ultimate arbiter regarding whether or not a student can matriculate as a degree-seeking graduate student.

If it is determined that you are not currently eligible, please feel free to apply again once you have completed one of the options below:

1. Enroll in an undergraduate program at a regionally accredited college in the US, transfer whatever credit the institution will accept and earn a Bachelors degree.
2. Earn a Masters degree at a Regionally accredited college or university.

As stated in Georgia Tech's official catalog, the minimum criteria for eligibility for consideration for acceptance in a graduate degree program shall include:

1. Evidence of award of a bachelors degree, its equivalent, or higher degree--prior to matriculation (i.e. prior to enrollment at Georgia Tech)--from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrated  academic excellence; and evidence of experience with the selected field of graduate study; and
2. For international applications, satisfactory scores on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).  Minimum requirements can be found here.
